EASTER 2017 UPDATE:
We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have received some incredible news from Claire and Nic Ross whose Wedding we performed at back at Easter 2015 at the stunning Kilworth House in Leicestershire. Can you spot the news in the photo above?!
It's so lovely when we receive news like this as we love to see couples lives blossom as we were lucky enough to have been there at the moment they said "I Do".
Claire told me she is due in October so watch this space! If we are very lucky we may get a picture of the new addition!
Claire and Nic are such a sweet couple and we couldn't wish them any more success for their lives together.

On Easter Monday we headed to the beautiful Kilworth House Hotel in Leicestershire to perform for Claire Ellis and Nic Ross on their Wedding Day. The weather was absolutely gorgeous with not a cloud in the sky, so we knew it was going to be a magical day!
Claire and Nic were getting married in The Orangery and as the sun streamed in through the windows we played two tracks as guests took their seats ready for Claire's big moment. We played 'Your Song' by Elton John, the a cover by Ellie Goulding and the first of two tracks we learnt especially for Claire and Nic which was 'First Day Of My Life' by Bright Eyes.
Claire's Bridal Entrance was to 'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perri, a really beautiful track stripped back to just the acoustic and vocal. It was an emotional moment as Claire walked down the aisle holding her father’s hand to a beaming Nic and we found a lovely place to stop on the lyrics of 'I have loved you for a thousand years...and I'll love you for a thousand more'. There was not a dry eye in the house!"
For the signing of the register, (which usually takes around 10 minutes), we played the second track we had learned for Claire and Nic - 'Viva La Vida' by Coldplay followed by 'Everlong' by The Foo Fighters...famous as Chandler and Monica's Wedding song in 'Friends'!
During the Ceremony there were 2 readings as is tradition, and there was a reading called 'A Lovely Love Story' By Edward Monkton. A beautiful story about two lovely dinosaurs with a message as old as time itself – that being together is better than being apart! A really fun story and one that breaks the nervousness of a ceremony with giggles and silliness!
Finally as Nic kissed his beautiful Bride, we played the timeless classic 'All You Need Is Love' as they exited as Husband and Wife...Mr and Mrs Ellis-Ross at the beginning of their journey with a whole lifetime ahead of them.
After the Wedding we received a lovely note from Claire saying "Thank you SO much for performing for us both. You were simply amazing and brought me to tears as I walked into the ceremony" Thank you for such kind words Claire, it was our pleasure.
We wish Claire and Nic all the very best for their lives together and hope their days are filled with fun, laughter and sunny days!
