'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us' from doing Wedding Karaoke at Normanton Park Hotel, Rutland Water
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these brilliant shots of Nicola and Joe joining us on stage for a little 'Wedding Karaoke' with their rendition of 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us' by Starship!
Nicola and Joe got married back in February and had their Ceremony at Normanton Church, which looks like it is floating on the top of Rutland Water.
It is a breathtaking venue and after the Ceremony they took the short yet beautiful stroll to the adjacent Normanton Park Hotel where they held their reception.
Nicola and Joe had booked our Live Wedding Band and DJ package after coming along to one of our public showcases in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
They had told us right away that they were desperate for us to learn 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us' by Starship and wanted to join us for a surprise rendition in front of their friends and family. Well, who are we to turn down such a request!
When the night came I had the lyrics ready for them (just in case the moment made them draw a blank) and we also had wireless microphones ready for them both so they could strut their stuff!
They must have been practicing hard as they knew every single word and sang their little hearts out! I can honestly say the energy and passion that they put into the performance was amazing, if perhaps a little off key! :-)
As the night was coming to the end, we surprised them by playing the track again and they jumped back on the stage right away...perhaps a little Dutch Courage had crept in!
They were even better than the first time as all the nerves had gone and we are currently waiting for Nicola to send over the video of the performance as it is currently being edited by the videographer. We are so looking forward to reliving this brilliant moment and will post it on here as soon as we have it!
Nicola and Joe - we couldn't stop smiling for days after your wedding! Cannot wait to see the video and to watch it from the front of the stage, dance moves and everything!
